Homeward Bound

Karyn has been formally discharged and we are about to head home ! !

Discharge Planning

It appears that Karyn will be discharged tomorrow for home pending one more doctor's sign-off.

Possible Discharge Date

We found out this morning that Karyn might be getting discharged for
home as early as Wednesday! This is coming from her doctor's resident
but he seemed pretty confident about it. Obviously we are all elated
at this news but nowhere near as happy as Karyn is. More soon.....

Doing Well

Karyn is making slow but steady progress and spends most of the day sleeping off the effects of the surgery. We are hoping that she will be moved out of ICU early this week but it is the best place for her right now.
