The tube is out and Karyn is breathing on her own. First word was "hi" when Thet showed up. Now to get her some food.

One of my favorite authors writes that the two prayers she manages to get out most are "Help me help me help me" and "thank you thank you thank you". I've been doing a combination of both since yesterday (substituting Karyn's name), given that I seem to have lost all eloquence for saying something more meaningful.
"hi" seems to be a cause for a chorus of "thank you thank you thank you!!!"
