More Surgery

There has been another setback in our seemingly never-ending quest to get our dear Karyn back home. In case some of you did not know, we ended up spending the day in the ER on saturday while we waited (and waited) for information about some seepage that began coming from the incision. After about 7 hours of waiting she was admitted into UC and has been receiving an IV of antibiotics ever since. This morning we found out that she had been placed on food restriction in anticipation of a procedure to relieve the excess fluid in the wound.

As it stands right now she is on the emergency schedule to get into surgery this afternoon--3pm at the soonest we have been told. Of course, nothing surprises us now and things never happen when they are supposed to. I will send updates from my phone later as news comes in.
